Perth Farmers' Market - On the first Saturday of every month, Judith travels to Perth and sells oysters at her stand. Trade has increased considerably over the years. Customers can buy oysters 'to eat now' freshly shucked by Judith - lemon and Tabasco available of course, or try shallots & red wine vinegar. Oysters can also be bought and taken home. Judith sells knives and is very happy to demonstrate how to open an oyster. Recipe ideas and advice - freely given.

Scone Game Fair - This is held for three days over the first weekend of July and is a very busy affair. The oyster stand is in the Food Hall which is full of wonderful food to try and buy.

Oban Farmers' Market - This is held on the first and third Thursday of the month at Kintaline Farm near Benderloch - about 7 miles north of Oban. This is a relatively new market and we are slowly building up the stalls. But we have had pork, beef, lamb, fish, shellfish, baking, vegetables, eggs and plants. All these producers are not always able to attend but there is always food to eat at the stands!

Festival of the Sea - SAMS (Scottish Association for Marine Sciences) have organised this festival from the 21st May to 31st May. More than 50 events in and around Oban celebrating the sea. Check out the website:- www.marinesciencefestival.com to find out more.
